Never ordered before, how do I begin?
All new customers must register first prior to ordering. Please follow register here - it should take no longer than a couple of minutes.
Do you really have these in stock?, Wow!
Yes, unlike some of our competitors we only advertise products we have in stock and available for dispatch next day.
What’s in your sweets?
All of our individual product pages clearly state the ingredients so you can check prior to ordering if needed.
Will I receive an order confirmation email?
Yes, as soon as your payment has been processed you will receive an automated email confirming all details.
What if I change my mind?
We are happy to amend or cancel any order providing this is prior to dispatch.
Do you have special offers?
We regularly introduce new lines and promote both our best sellers and seasonal products.
It’s not for me, can you add a personal message?
We would be happy to add a personal message, depending on when you place your order, this may not be able to go next day. Please specify details in the ‘Product & Delivery Special Requests’ box on your order page.
Can you make me a bespoke order, just for me?
We are more than happy and really enjoy creating a special bespoke order for a special occasion. Please just provide us with the details and we will gladly come back to you with some ideas.
How will my sweets be packed?
Each bag of sweets will be packed in either a traditional pink & white striped candy bag or a sealed poly bag. Both will be clearly labeled with both full ingredients and the best before date. All of our sweets are dispatched in either brand new cardboard boxes or our distinctive purple mailing bags – whichever is most appropriate for each order.
What’s the minimum shelf life on your product?
We sell loads of sweets, so shelf life is never a problem. We will however, never send you a sweet with less than 3 months shelf life on it.
OK, so I’ve ordered, when will you send them?
We dispatch all orders the next working day. Orders placed after 4pm Friday will be collected Monday morning.
Is it safe to order online?
Security is probably one of the most significant concerns for both Online Sweet Shop and you, our customer during an online transaction. In reality an online transaction is probably more secure than a card transaction in a shop or conducted over the telephone or by fax, as the information transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated logarithm combinations. We neither store, or see your card details as these are dealt with by our trusted third party payment processor Paypal. Paypal is an Ebay company, and is licensed and regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards and all transactions are processed by Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to buy from us, however you will be given the option to create a Paypal account when making a payment, which makes transactions faster in the future.
I'm not in the UK, which exchange rate do you use?
All our prices will be converted to your local currency using the current international exchange rates. Your card issuer will be responsible for this.
What days are you open?
You can place your orders 24:7, but we do not dispatch on weekends.
How much will it cost to deliver my sweets?
Postage costs start as low as £1.08 and we have a maximum charge of £7.25 for standard delivery to UK mainland. At the checkout, your postage options will clearly be displayed based on the weight of your order. For worldwide shipping, the price will be displayed at the checkout.

What are your delivery options?
We use a combination of Royal Mail and private couriers with either standard or express/next day deliveries. You can select your preferred service on checkout.
How long will my parcel take to arrive?
This is dependent on the postal service you select. This does range from guaranteed next day to Royal Mail 2nd class – it’s up to you.
Does next day delivery actually mean next day?
Typically our courier’s cutoff is 1pm for next day delivery.
Can I track my item?
All of our couriers use a tracking facility, and therefore a tracking number is available upon request.
Will I know when my items have been dispatched?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email when you order has been dispatched.
Can I collect my item from you?
Unfortunately we don’t have a facility for customer collections.
I work, can you leave it in a safe place?
Should you choose to accept responsibility for loss or theft of your product we can ask our courier to leave in a designated place at the delivery address specified.
Can someone else sign for my delivery?
Yes, if at the delivery address.
Can I change the delivery address?
Yes, we are able to accept amendments to the order prior to dispatch. Should you require a change of address once the item has been dispatched an additional charge may apply.
Do you deliver to BFPO addresses?
Yes, we are more than happy to use the BFPO network for parcels up to 2kg, and please select this as your option at checkout.
Where in the world do you deliver?
Almost anywhere – put us to the test! If you do not see your country listed in the checkout pages, please email us for a quote.
What if I'm not in?
Both Royal Mail and our couriers will leave a card should you not be in on the first attempt. You can then arrange a re-delivery or collection from depot at a time to suit you.
What happens if the product isn’t ok?
We take our customers comments really seriously, so if you have a damaged or faulty product we will refund it if you tell us within 7 days of order. If you have ordered the wrong product in error or just don’t like it, we cannot accept returns for food and safety regulations, sorry!
I need to send some sweets back, what do I do?
Please contact us first with your order number and a brief explanation. We will then issue you with a returns number and instructions to follow.
Can you confirm you have received my return?
We will email you upon safe receipt of your return.
You have sent me the wrong item, what now?
We take every step to ensure this will never happen – but if you do have any concerns with your order, please email us at info@onlinesweetshop.eu .
Part of my order is missing?
